Angelique Ramirez, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant with a passion for promoting cultural competence, inclusivity, and expanding healthcare access. She holds a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she was recognized as a GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences Scholar. Angelique also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Prior to pursuing her graduate studies, Angelique gained medical experience in rural primary care clinics throughout Guatemala as a medical assistant and pharmacy technician, where she was awarded the City of San Miguel Dueñas Sacatepequez Medical Volunteer Award for her efforts in increasing healthcare accessibility. Additionally, she also has medical experience in geriatric care and clinical dermatology as a certified nursing assistant. Driven by her Puerto Rican and Honduran heritage, she strives to provide culturally sensitive care to all patients, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
